Faith Friends Homeschool Group is a group of Christian homeschoolers who meet every-other Tuesday Morning for fun and learning. 

This Group is led by a local homeschool mom, other homeschool moms and volunteers. If you would like to Volunteer please let us know by emailing us or using the contact us page. Thank you!

All class info: This group is for middle school and high schoolers. Younger siblings may also attend and come along. (There is no fee for younger siblings.)

Meeting location: Hillcrest on 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 

Time: 9:30 a.m. to noon 

 

Meet and greet on July 18th before classes start.

 

This is the class schedule.

Dates are for this calendar year; most classes will run for 6 weeks, which will be around 3 months long, then we will start a new lesson. If we plan to use the same curriculum, you will not have to pay again only if we start a new curriculum.

Classes will start on August 1st and meet every other Tuesday. Class dates are as follow. August 1st, 15th, and 29th. September 12th and 26th October 10th and 24th November 7th and 21st December 5th and 19th

 

Cost: $10 per child (cash only and paid at meet and greet or 1st class); however, if you have more than one child and can't afford the fees, please message me. This fee covers the copyright release for the curriculum, so I can print multiple books for the kids for each child or family. Whatever is left or not required by the company because they charge us a fee to allow us to use it in a group setting will be donated to the group for supplies or to the church for allowing us to use the church, just so you know. 

We don't want you not to come because of the cost; this is a Christian-based group, so if you can't afford it, please private message me. We will try to bless and help in any way we can.

We will be doing a curriculum study along with the Bible.

Also, this is not a drop-and-go type of group; this is a group where we all come together to study, learn, and grow together. Moms can enjoy a bible study or talk about homeschooling over coffee why the kids read the curriculum and work on worksheets, and then we will all come together to go over and do the lesson as a whole group.

I will ask each child to bring a binder to keep sheets in and a bible. A notebook if they like taking notes. 

Also, if you can donate any supplies to the group, that will be amazing too, but not required. I will list some things needed for projects during group meets. 

 

At the end of the sessions, we will do a love offering to donate to the church for allowing us to use their facility, so if you are able to give, please do so, but it is not required. 

 

This group doesn't charge a family fee like most do, which is why donations are requested but not required.

Depending on the lesson, sometimes a field trip could be discussed. If a field trip is discussed, fees, location, date, and time will be discussed and planned together as a whole with all the homeschool moms within the group. 

I encourage all moms to get involved with their kids. Help them learn, and you may learn something too. Also enjoy meeting other moms during our group; it's nice to have someone you can relate to during your homeschool journey.

Moms get to gather, socialize, discuss the bible and have coffee while the kids do a Bible study. Then we will join them and ask questions, read, and study together with them. The parents and kids will work together on the Christian-based curriculum. We will grow and learn together.
